The situation escalated on September 20, when Hezbollah launched over 150 rockets in multiple barrages, primarily targeting the city of Safed and the Golan Heights. Despite the intensity of the attacks, there have been no reported casualties. The IDF confirmed that some of the rockets were intercepted, and minor damage was reported in some areas. Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the attacks, stating they targeted Israeli military bases. The escalation follows a vow by Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah to retaliate against Israel for a mass bombing attack.
