G/O Media Sells Gizmodo to Keleops Media on June 4, 2024

On June 4, 2024, G/O Media has sold the tech news website Gizmodo to Keleops Media, a European digital media company based in Paris. The sale was announced in a company-wide email by G/O Media CEO Jim Spanfeller, who assured that Gizmodo's entire staff would remain intact. Keleops Media's founder and CEO, Jean-Guillaume Kleis, confirmed the acquisition. The remaining G/O Media sites, including The Root, Quartz, Kotaku, and Jalopnik, are still up for sale.
