Germany Deports 28 Afghans to Taliban-Controlled Kabul Amid Migration Pressure
Aug 30, 2024, 08:15 AM
Germany has resumed deportations of Afghan nationals for the first time since the Taliban took control in August 2021. This move comes amid pressure on Berlin to address migration issues and follows an Islamist attack in Solingen, two days before state elections in eastern Germany. Each deportee was given €1000.
