Florida International University (FIU) has hired Willie Simmons as its new head football coach on a four-year deal, according to multiple sources. Simmons, who was previously the head coach at Florida A&M University (FAMU) from 2018 to 2023, compiled a record of 45-13 during his tenure there. Before joining FIU, he served as the running backs coach at Duke University.
