Charles Leclerc has secured his fourth consecutive pole position at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku by 0.3 seconds. Leclerc, driving for Ferrari, outpaced his competitors with a time of 1:41.365. Oscar Piastri of McLaren will start from P2, while Carlos Sainz, also of Ferrari, secured P3. Sergio Perez of Red Bull took P4, breaking a streak of being outqualified by his teammate, Max Verstappen, who will start from P6. George Russell and Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes will start from P5 and P7, respectively. Fernando Alonso will start from P8. Notably, Franco Colapinto achieved a P9 finish, marking Argentina's first top-ten qualifying result since 1982. Alex Albon secured P10. Lando Norris of McLaren faced a setback, being eliminated in Q1 due to a yellow flag, and will start from P17.
