Eric Notrick Charged with Attempted Murder After Shooting at Deputies During Eviction on Roosevelt Way
Jul 10, 2024, 12:37 AM
Eric Notrick, 42, has been arrested and charged by the San Francisco District Attorney's Office with attempted murder of public officials, assault, and discharging a firearm. The charges stem from an incident on July 3, 2024, when Notrick, who is mentally ill, allegedly fired seven shots through his door at sheriff's deputies who were attempting to evict him from his apartment on Roosevelt Way near Buena Vista Park. The confrontation involved around 100 SFPD officers in SWAT gear, who used tear gas, flash bangs, and a drone over a period of more than two hours to execute the arrest warrant. District Attorney Brooke Jenkins announced the charges.
