Elon Musk Becomes Top GOP Donor with $75 Million to Pro-Trump PAC, Launches Pennsylvania Tour
Oct 16, 2024, 05:08 AM
Elon Musk has donated approximately $75 million to America PAC, a pro-Trump super PAC he founded in May, during the July-September period, according to Federal Election Commission filings. The contributions were made in installments of $15 million in July, $30 million in August, and $30 million in September. His donations make him one of the largest Republican donors of the 2024 election cycle, and he was the sole donor to America PAC in the last quarter. Musk, along with Miriam Adelson and Dick Uihlein, contributed a combined total of $220 million to pro-Trump groups during this period. America PAC supports key values such as secure borders, sensible spending, self-protection, and safe cities. Additionally, Musk announced he will be giving a series of talks across Pennsylvania starting tomorrow night through next Monday to encourage voter participation in the critical battleground state. Attendance at these events requires signing a petition supporting free speech and the right to bear arms, as well as proof of voting in Pennsylvania.
