Texas Woman Charged with Attempted Murder in Euless Hate Crime Against 3-Year-Old Palestinian Girl
Jun 23, 2024, 09:41 AM
A woman in Texas has been charged with attempted capital murder and injury to a child after allegedly trying to drown two Palestinian-American children, including a three-year-old girl, at an apartment complex pool in Euless. The incident, which took place last month, involved the woman reportedly making racist comments and berating the children's mother, who was wearing a headscarf. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) Texas chapter has called for a hate crimes investigation, labeling the attack as a possible hate crime. The attacker, identified as Elizabeth Wolf, allegedly stated, 'Tell her I will kill her and I will kill her whole family.' CAIR-Texas plans to hold a news conference to urge law enforcement authorities to investigate the incident further.
