During an interview on NBC's 'Meet the Press,' Trump stated, “I’m not looking to go back into the past. Retribution will be through success.” However, he indicated that Kash Patel, his nominee for FBI Director, might independently decide to investigate individuals if they are believed to be dishonest, crooked, or corrupt politicians. Trump clarified that such decisions would not be directed by him but would be left to the discretion of Patel and Pam Bondi, another key figure in his administration.
