Oracle CEO Safra Catz Exits Disney Board After Six Years, Reducing Directors to 11

Oracle CEO Safra A. Catz is departing Disney’s Board of Directors after six years. The departure is amicable and stems from avoiding any conflict of interest as Oracle chairman Larry Ellison funds a Paramount/Skydance merger, a company to be run by his son, David. With Catz’s departure, Disney's board has reduced from 12 directors to 11. The Walt Disney Company announced the departure.
