Cockeysville's David Linthicum Guilty of Attempted Murder in February Officer Shootings
Sep 26, 2024, 05:57 PM
David Linthicum, a Cockeysville man, was found guilty of multiple counts of attempted first-degree murder and other charges by a Baltimore County jury on Thursday afternoon. The charges stem from the February 2023 shootings of Baltimore County police officers, including Officer Jordan, Officer Arnett, Officer Allen, and Detective Chih. Linthicum was also found guilty of armed carjacking and the commission of a firearm in a violent crime. The jury deliberated for two days following the trial, which concluded with jury instructions on Wednesday. During deliberations, the jury requested extra-large gloves to examine evidence. Earlier, prosecutors abandoned several other charges against Linthicum.
