The incident occurred when Garro's Dodge RAM truck collided with a motorcycle driven by 30-year-old Nicolás Chiaraviglio, who died at the scene. Garro was detained following the accident and tested positive for 0.5 grams of alcohol in his blood, leading to charges of aggravated manslaughter due to driving under the influence. The accident took place on the day of Garro's 27th birthday.
