Wisconsin's Chrystul Kizer Sentenced to 11 Years for Reckless Homicide of Alleged Trafficker
Aug 19, 2024, 09:02 PM
Chrystul Kizer, a Wisconsin woman, has been sentenced to 11 years in prison for the second-degree reckless homicide of Randall Volar III, whom she claimed was her sex trafficker. The incident occurred in 2018 when Kizer was a teenager. In addition to the prison sentence, she will be under extended supervision for five years. Kizer's case drew significant attention as she argued that her actions were justified under a state law supporting trafficking victims. The Wisconsin Supreme Court had previously ruled that she could present this defense at trial. She also set his house on fire and stole his car.
