China Launches Long March-2C from Gansu, Placing SAR Satellites into Orbit

China successfully launched a Long March-2C carrier rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Gansu Province, northwest China, on Monday, placing two SAR high-resolution radar satellites, Siwei Gaojing-2 03 and Siwei Gaojing-2 04, into the planned orbit. The launch took place at 7:39 a.m. Beijing Time, marking the 547th flight of the Long March carrier rockets and China's 57th orbital launch of 2024.
