Dodgers Sign Blake Snell to Five-Year Contract Worth $130 Million, Includes $52 Million Signing Bonus and $10 Million Club Option

The Los Angeles Dodgers have signed pitcher Blake Snell to a five-year contract, marking a significant move following their recent World Series victory. This deal is notable as it represents the first nine-figure contract of the offseason. Snell, a two-time Cy Young Award winner, will receive an annual salary of $26 million, with a total of $52 million in signing bonuses. Additionally, $66 million will be deferred, and the contract includes a conditional club option for 2030 worth $10 million, contingent on specific injury criteria. The San Francisco Giants will also continue to pay Snell a $17 million signing bonus from a previous contract, which is due on January 15, 2026.
