Valour and Nairobi Securities Exchange to Launch Crypto ETPs in Kenya
Aug 7, 2024, 10:12 PM
Valour has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Nairobi Securities Exchange to launch digital asset exchange-traded products (ETPs) in Kenya. This collaboration aims to introduce a range of digital assets, including Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, and Hedera, to the Kenyan market. Valour, a crypto fund issuer, views this move as a significant step in expanding the decentralized finance (DeFi) landscape in Africa. The company already operates over 33 ETPs in Europe and aims to replicate this success in Kenya. This initiative is supported by SovFi and other partners, marking a substantial development in the African digital asset trading space.
