Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs Attract Record $6.2 Billion in Inflows as Bitcoin Nears $100,000
Nov 29, 2024, 10:54 PM
Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs have seen record net inflows in November as the cryptocurrency markets continue to rally. On November 27, Bitcoin spot ETFs recorded $103 million in net inflows, while Ethereum spot ETFs saw $90.1 million, marking four consecutive days of net inflows for Ethereum ETFs. Over the month, U.S. Bitcoin ETFs are on track for a record monthly net inflow of $6.2 billion, bringing cumulative inflows to $30.38 billion and total holdings to 1,089,897 BTC. This surge is bolstered by Bitcoin's approach toward $100,000 and optimism over pro-crypto policies under President Donald Trump's administration. Ethereum ETFs have also experienced significant inflows, with spot ETH ETFs seeing $225 million in net inflows between November 22 and 27, which was $190 million more than spot Bitcoin ETFs during the same period. Notably, BlackRock's Ethereum ETF (ETHA) reported over $2 billion in inflows since its launch in July, with a single-day inflow of $252.4 million on November 29 surpassing its Bitcoin ETF inflows. Major asset managers like BlackRock and Fidelity are leading the charge in ETF inflows, with Fidelity's Ethereum ETF seeing daily inflows of $79.1 million.
