Two Former Fraternity Leaders Plead Guilty This Week in 2017 Penn State Hazing Death

Two former fraternity leaders, Brendan Young, 28, and Daniel Casey, 27, have pleaded guilty this week for their roles in a hazing incident that led to the death of Penn State University student Timothy Piazza in 2017. The incident occurred at the Beta Theta Pi fraternity house, where Piazza suffered fatal injuries on February 4, 2017. Young and Casey pleaded guilty to 14 counts of hazing and one count of reckless endangerment. Piazza, a sophomore at the time, was from Lebanon, New Jersey.
