Jul 11, 2024, 06:36 PM
Australia has announced its largest single military assistance package to Ukraine, worth approximately $250 million (or $168 million). The package includes guided missiles, air defense missiles, anti-tank weapons, artillery, mortar, cannon, and small arms ammunition. Additionally, Australia will send a small number of personnel to a new NATO command for Ukraine, which will comprise 700 people to deliver training and security assistance. This aid, reported by ABC News, is part of the NATO summit's €40 billion financing plan and marks the most significant contribution from Australia to Ukraine's defense against Russia to date since the beginning of the full-scale war.
