Utah Woman Files First U.S. Lawsuit Against AstraZeneca Over Permanent COVID-19 Vaccine Injury

Brianne Dressen, a 42-year-old former teacher and mom from Utah, has filed the first U.S. lawsuit against AstraZeneca. Dressen, who participated in the U.S. clinical trial of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, alleges that the vaccine left her permanently disabled. She claims that AstraZeneca breached its contract by not covering the medical care she requires to deal with her injury. The lawsuit was filed on May 13.
