Dash Cam Captures LA Police Chase Ending in Arrest of Armed Felon on $2M Bail
Jul 21, 2024, 09:08 AM
A dramatic police chase in Los Angeles, captured on dash cam footage, ended with the arrest of Malcolm Guss Jr., a 31-year-old seven-time felon. Guss, who was reportedly a drunk driver, opened fire on two LAPD officers with a fully-automatic rifle during a traffic stop. Despite the attack, the officers held their ground, returned fire, and pursued Guss. He was charged nine days later with one count of attempted murder of a peace officer and other charges. Guss was booked into custody on a $2 million bail.
