Explosion in Swat Targets Diplomatic Convoy, Killing Police Officer and Injuring Four

An explosion targeted a security convoy escorting diplomats from various countries in the Swat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The incident resulted in the death of one police officer and injuries to four others. The diplomats, who were traveling to Malam Jabba from Mingora, included representatives from Bosnia, Russia, Vietnam, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, and Portugal. The attack, which was carried out using an improvised explosive device, specifically targeted the police vehicles in the convoy. All diplomats were reported safe. The attack remains unclaimed. The diplomats have safely returned to Islamabad.
