A'ja Wilson has set a new WNBA single-season scoring record, surpassing the previous mark of 939 points set by Jewell Loyd last year. Wilson achieved this milestone during the Las Vegas Aces' game against the Indiana Fever, scoring her 940th and 941st points just before halftime with 26.4 seconds left in the second quarter. By the end of the first half, Wilson had accumulated 12 points, bringing her season total to 941 points. In the first quarter, she scored 10 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, and shot 4-of-10 from the field. In addition to her scoring achievement, Wilson is also close to breaking the WNBA single-season rebounds record, needing just 32 more rebounds. She currently leads the league in blocks as well.
