Sony Honda Mobility Opens Afeela EV Reservations at CES 2025, Starting at $89,900 in California

Sony Honda Mobility, a joint venture between Sony Group Corp. and Honda Motor Co., has opened reservations for its electric vehicle (EV) brand, Afeela, at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 in Las Vegas. The Afeela 1, set to be available in two models, the Afeela 1 Origin and the Afeela 1 Signature, will start at $89,900 and $102,900, respectively. Reservations began with a refundable $200 fee, initially available to customers in California. The vehicles are equipped with advanced features including Level 2+ driver assist technology, an AI-powered personal assistant, and a three-year complimentary subscription to various in-car services. Deliveries are scheduled to start in spring 2026 in North America and later that year in Japan.
