VisitIran Seeks Turkey's AFAD Help with 32 Personnel, 6 Vehicles in Search for President Raisi

Iran has requested assistance from Turkey in the search and rescue operations for President Raisi. The Red Crescent teams from Tehran, West Azarbaijan, Ardabil, and Zanjan have arrived at the accident scene. Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) has deployed 32 mountaineering search-and-rescue personnel, six vehicles, and a helicopter equipped with a night vision camera to northwestern Iran. The Turkish team set out from the Van border area with Iran, and additional research experts are on alert to move to Iran if needed. The request was made on Sunday.
