The global box office for 2024 reached $8.72 billion, with the U.S. contributing $8.7 billion to this total. Disney led the industry, achieving a global box office of $5.46 billion, including $2.23 billion domestically and $3.23 billion internationally, marking the first time a studio has surpassed $5 billion worldwide since 2019.
