Japanese wheelchair tennis player Tokito Oda has won the gold medal in the men's singles at the Paris Paralympics. The 18-year-old defeated World No.1 Alfie Hewett in a thrilling final with scores of 6-2, 4-6, 7-5. Oda saved two match points to secure his victory, becoming the youngest Paralympic wheelchair tennis champion. Hewett, who was the top seed, recovered from an injury in the first game and had a match point, but ultimately fell short in an exciting and closely contested match.
