Sam Darnold led the Minnesota Vikings to a 27-25 victory over the Green Bay Packers, throwing for a season-high 377 yards, completing 76% of his passes, and achieving a 116.1 passer rating. Darnold connected with Jalen Nailor for a 31-yard touchdown in the second quarter, giving the Vikings a 7-3 lead. In the third quarter, he found Jordan Addison for an 18-yard touchdown, displaying impressive pocket movement, and later threw a 9-yard touchdown pass to Cam Akers. With this performance, Darnold now has 35 touchdown passes and 4,153 passing yards this season, surpassing his previous season high of 19 touchdowns in 2019. He leads the NFL in deep touchdown passes, and his 35 touchdown passes tie him with Kirk Cousins (2020) for the second-most in a single season in Vikings history, behind Daunte Culpepper's 39 in 2004. The Vikings improved to 14-2 and are one win away from securing the No. 1 seed in the NFC.
