Elderly Marin County Woman with Memory Issues Raped and Beaten by Caretaker Yumi Zingkhai

An elderly Marin County woman with memory issues was raped and beaten by her caretaker, Yumi Zingkhai, 23, on Sunday. The Marin County Sheriff's Department reported that Zingkhai, who served as the woman's in-home medical caretaker, also assaulted the woman's adult daughter when she arrived home and found the assault in progress. The daughter was choked to unconsciousness and held captive at knifepoint for hours. Zingkhai also attacked his girlfriend during the incident. Authorities have arrested Zingkhai on charges of rape, assault, and kidnapping.
