Hezbollah Rocket Attack in Golan Heights Kills 14, Injures Dozens

A Hezbollah rocket attack on the Druze town of Majdal Shams in northern Israel has resulted in significant casualties. The attack struck a soccer field and a children's playground, leading to at least 14 fatalities and over 30 injuries, with many of the victims being children. Israeli medics report that 5 people are in critical condition and 6 others are seriously wounded. Preliminary reports suggest about 21 wounded. The incident follows a series of Hezbollah attacks since October 8, and it has escalated tensions in the region. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is holding emergency security consultations in response to the attack. The town is located in the Golan Heights.
