Texans Lead Bills 14-3 in First Quarter as NFL Receiving Leader Nico Collins Shines with 67-Yard TD
Oct 6, 2024, 05:43 PM
In a thrilling first quarter, the Houston Texans lead the Buffalo Bills 14-3, thanks to a standout performance by wide receiver Nico Collins. Collins, who leads the NFL in receiving yards, caught a 67-yard touchdown pass from quarterback C.J. Stroud. This pass traveled 59.1 yards in the air, marking the fifth-longest completion of the season. Collins, who has been a key player for the Texans, has consistently recorded over 70 receiving yards in each of the first four weeks. The Texans' defense also made a significant contribution by forcing a three-and-out against the Bills. Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans praised the explosive play, which contributed to touchdowns on the Texans' last two possessions. However, after his touchdown catch, Collins went straight to the medical tent.
