New Zealand secured their first victory of the T20 World Cup 2024 by defeating Uganda by 9 wickets in Trinidad. The match, held in Tarouba, marked the first-ever meeting between New Zealand and Uganda in a T20 World Cup. Uganda was bowled out for a total of 40 runs, which is the third-lowest all-out total in men's T20 World Cup history.
