This comes amid a broader trend of rising crypto lobbying expenditures in the United States. Crypto Political Lobby expenditure is currently at $40.4 million, reflecting a significant increase in efforts to influence regulation and adoption. Since 2017, Coinbase's lobbying spending has surged by 3,475%, from $80,000 to $2.86 million in 2023. Overall, US crypto firms have ramped up lobbying efforts, with expenditures increasing by 1,386% over the past seven years, according to Cointelegraph and CryptoSlate.
