This milestone surpasses the previous record held by Case Keenum. Ward's record-setting pass was completed to Jacolby George with 4:12 remaining in the first quarter of the game. Throughout his career, Ward has accumulated a total of 156 touchdown passes, with 71 at Incarnate Word, 48 at Washington State, and 37 at Miami. As of now, Dillon Gabriel is close behind with 153 career touchdown passes. Ward's accomplishment marks him as the third quarterback in NCAA history to reach 18,000 career passing yards, further solidifying his status in college football history.
