President Joe Biden plans to honor 20 Americans with the Presidential Citizens Medal, the second-highest civilian award in the United States, recognizing their exemplary service to the nation. They led the congressional investigation into the violent January 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol riot carried out by supporters of former President Trump.
