The funding round was led by Hornbill Capital with significant participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners and existing investors. This marks the largest fundraise for a firm in the troubled edtech sector, which has been struggling to secure investments amid the collapse of other major players. The financing includes both primary and secondary transactions and is seen as a major milestone for Physics Wallah, especially given the current funding scarcity in the edtech industry.
