Legendary Entertainment Buys Out Wanda's 60% Stake, Gains Control with Apollo

Legendary Entertainment, the studio behind movies such as 'Dune' and 'Godzilla vs. Kong,' has bought out Dalian Wanda Group's remaining 60% equity stake in the company. This acquisition marks a new era for the studio and leaves Legendary Entertainment and Apollo Global Management in control of the studio. The Legendary board will now be evenly split between management and Apollo. CEO Josh Grode has indicated that the company is interested in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) moving forward.
