Marvel and Disney Fire 'X-Men '97' Creator Beau DeMayo Over Misconduct in March 2024
Aug 16, 2024, 04:03 AM
Beau DeMayo, the creator of 'X-Men '97', has been fired by Marvel Studios following an internal investigation that revealed 'egregious' findings. DeMayo claims that he was stripped of his credits for Season 2 of 'X-Men '97' due to a social media post featuring fan art celebrating LGBTQIA+ Pride Month. However, Marvel and Disney have countered these claims by stating that the termination was due to findings of sexual misconduct. DeMayo was terminated in March 2024, and Marvel has stated that he has no further affiliation with the company.
