Russia has started producing a new long-range attack drone called the Garpiya-A1, utilizing Chinese engines and parts, according to Reuters. This drone has been deployed in the ongoing war in Ukraine. According to sources from a European intelligence agency, Russia produced more than 2,500 Garpiya-A1 drones from July 2023 to July 2024. The use of Chinese components in these drones is aimed at reducing Russia's reliance on Iranian drones.
