Caitlin Clark Makes WNBA History with First Rookie Triple-Double, Leads Fever to 83-78 Win
Jul 6, 2024, 06:49 PM
Caitlin Clark made history by becoming the first rookie in WNBA history to record a triple-double. In a game against the New York Liberty, Clark achieved 19 points, 13 assists, 12 rebounds, and 2 steals, shooting 7/17 from the field, leading the Indiana Fever to an 83-78 victory over the league's top-seeded team. This performance also marked the first triple-double in Indiana Fever's franchise history. Aliyah Boston contributed significantly with 18 points and 8 rebounds. The Fever snapped their losing streak in the fourth meeting against the Liberty, who had previously defeated them by 36 points earlier in the season.
