Chinese President Xi Jinping has pledged $51 billion in financing for Africa over the next three years during a major summit in Beijing. The funding aims to support 30 infrastructure projects and create at least one million jobs across the continent. Xi also promised to deepen cooperation in infrastructure, energy, education, trade, and military with African nations. The summit, attended by more than two dozen African leaders, marks Beijing's largest diplomatic event since the pandemic.
