China Sanctions 13 U.S. Military Firms Over $385M Arms Sale to Taiwan

China has announced sanctions on 13 U.S. military firms and their executives, effective from December 5, in response to a $385 million U.S. arms sale to Taiwan. The Chinese Foreign Ministry stated that these countermeasures target companies and individuals linked to the U.S. military, following the U.S. decision to supply arms to Taiwan, which China considers part of its territory.
