Senator Graham Vows Sanctions on ICC and Allies Over Netanyahu Warrants, Threatens to "Crush" Economies
Nov 23, 2024, 02:49 AM
U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham announced plans to introduce legislation that would impose sanctions on the International Criminal Court (ICC) and any country that cooperates with its arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. Calling the ICC's decision "outrageous," Graham warned that the arrest warrants pose a threat to the United States, stating, "If we do not act forcefully against the ICC, we are making a huge mistake." He specifically threatened to sanction U.S. allies—including Canada, Britain, Germany, and France—if they assist the ICC, declaring, "We're going to crush your economy" and "I don't care if it's Canada, France, Germany, or any other country." Graham emphasized the need to act because "we're next," urging the U.S. Senate to sanction the ICC.
