VisitChinese Defense Contractor Employee Charged with Hacking NASA, US Military Source Code

An employee of China's state-owned defense contractor, Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), has been charged with hacking attempts on NASA and the US military. The individual, Song Wu, faces 14 counts of wire fraud and 14 counts of aggravated identity theft. According to an indictment, Song tried to fraudulently obtain computer software and military source code through spear-phishing attacks.
