Microsoft's donation follows a recent blog post by its president, Brad Smith, advocating for a strategy to support American artificial intelligence globally. Boeing has also confirmed a $1 million donation to the fund, aligning with its contributions to the past three presidential inaugurations. The Trump inaugural committee has raised a record-breaking $170 million, surpassing the amount collected during Trump's first inauguration in 2017.
