Broncos Beat Raiders 29-19; Minshew Injured as Denver Completes Season Sweep
Nov 25, 2024, 12:07 AM
The Denver Broncos defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 29-19 at Allegiant Stadium, improving their record to 7-5 and handing the Raiders their seventh consecutive loss, dropping them to 2-9—their worst start since 2018. The Raiders led 13-9 at halftime, with kicker Daniel Carlson contributing four field goals, including a 34-yarder. However, the Broncos rallied in the second half, and quarterback Gardner Minshew left the game due to a left shoulder injury after being sacked by Cody Barton. Backup quarterback Desmond Ridder entered but fumbled after a strip sack by Nik Bonitto, with Malcolm Roach recovering the ball for Denver. This victory gave the Broncos their first road win against the Raiders since 2015 and completed their first season sweep over Las Vegas since 2014. Broncos kicker Wil Lutz made three field goals, including 53 and 54-yarders, aiding in securing the win.
