Donald Trump has pledged to conduct mass deportations of immigrants from Springfield, Ohio, and Aurora, Colorado, if he is elected president. During a press conference, he stated that these deportations would be the largest in the history of the United States. Trump mentioned that the deportations would target illegal migrants and specifically noted that immigrants would be sent back to Venezuela. However, it has been pointed out that the immigrants in Springfield are primarily Haitians who are in the United States under Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and some have pending asylum claims. Trump emphasized that this would be the largest deportation in the history of the country.
