Kamala Harris Campaign Launches 'Republicans for Harris' with GOP Endorsements in Arizona, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania
Aug 4, 2024, 03:12 PM
The Kamala Harris campaign has launched 'Republicans for Harris,' a group aiming to attract GOP voters disillusioned with former President Donald Trump. The initiative has received endorsements from several prominent Republicans, including former Trump White House officials Stephanie Grisham and Olivia Troye, former Secretaries Chuck Hagel and Ray LaHood, former Governors Jim Edgar, Bill Weld, and Christine Todd Whitman, and former Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan. The campaign also includes support from ex-Reps. Adam Kinzinger and Joe Walsh, as well as Kinzinger's former Chief-of-Staff. Kickoff events for the group are being held in Arizona, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. Olivia Troye, a former Trump official, emphasized her trust in Harris to protect freedoms and uphold the rule of law, despite policy disagreements.
