Sabrina Carpenter's 'Short n' Sweet' Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard 200 with 362K Units, Tops UK Charts

Sabrina Carpenter's latest album 'Short n' Sweet' has achieved significant success, debuting at No. 1 on both the UK Albums Chart and the Billboard 200. The album sold 362,000 units in its first week in the U.S., including 184,000 pure sales, marking the third-biggest opening week of 2024. In the UK, the album debuted with 89K units. Carpenter also occupies the top three spots on the UK Singles Chart with 'Taste,' 'Please Please Please,' and 'Espresso,' making her the first female artist to achieve this feat. Additionally, 'Taste' debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, and Carpenter is predicted to chart all 12 tracks from 'Short n' Sweet' in the top 40 of the Hot 100. The album also garnered 16x more streams than her previous album. This marks a historic achievement as she joins The Beatles as the only acts to chart their first three top 5 hits simultaneously on the Hot 100. Carpenter narrowly beat Travis Scott in a competitive race for the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200.
