Over 114 Companies Sign EU AI Pact to Drive Safe AI Development

Over 114 companies, including Palantir, OpenAI, Telefonica, Adobe, Nokia, and TechWolf, have signed the EU AI Pact, committing to apply the principles of the EU AI Act on a voluntary basis ahead of its full legal application. The initiative aims to test the AI Act in real-life conditions and inform future implementing measures and guidelines of the AI Office. The kick-off ceremony took place in Brussels, with notable statements from industry leaders such as Saidot's CEO and Co-Founder Meeri Haataja. The AI Pact focuses on AI adoption, literacy, and governance to ensure the benefits of AI are broadly distributed and beneficial to everyone.
